How do I get in touch?
Click on the Contact link below and drop us an email. We love to get feedback, both good and bad - it’s the best way for us to improve our service. If there’s anything you’re after that you can’t find, please let us know and we’ll track it down for you.
Who and what is The Homesick Hamper Co.?
We’re people who have travelled to foreign lands and found a deep and unwavering want for Marmite, Walker’s Crisps and HP Sauce but couldn’t find any. We think everyone should be able to get their favourite treats. They make you feel at home, give a little comfort, an emotional hug, and make people happier.
What do you sell?
We sell food and other goods from the nations of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. We can deliver anywhere in the UK and Europe.
How does The Homesick Hamper Co. compare with getting my family and friends at home to send me food?
Because we work with a network of suppliers and buy lots and lots of stuff at the same time, it’s cheaper than buying it in little bits. Because the food is already in the UK, you don’t have to pay shipping costs or worry about delays. All you pay for is the postage to get it from us to you. The delivery cost is easy to figure out before you buy, using the information in the ordering section.
Why is the sky blue?
Put simply, the sky is blue because in the white light emitted by the sun, the short wave blue light in the spectrum is scattered by particles in the atmosphere, spreading it about. The other colours of light in the spectrum pass straight through. Because the blue light is spread about so much, it makes the sky look blue.
What ever happened to Screech, AKA Dustin Diamond, from Saved by the Bell?
Screech is still working, mixing the odd film cameo with stand-up and playing in his band, The Salty Pocketknife. He also appeared on reality TV show Celebrity Boxing in 2002. How the mighty fall.
